Ukrainians abroad
The president of our Association, Oleh Wolowyna, was selected as one of the official
delegates of Ukrainians in the United States, to a plenary session of the Ukrainian
Congress (Verkhovna Rada) held in Kyiv on October 14, 2009.
The topic of the session was “Ukrainians abroad:current status and prospects for
collaboration”. The session was attended by Ukrainian government officials and
delegates from Ukrainian organizations in many countries. This is a great honor for our
Association and a recognition of its importance. Invitation.
